About Us
Welcome to Healing With BPD—a space created with honesty, compassion, understanding, and hope for those living with Borderline Personality Disorder and the people who care about them.
Healing With BPD was born from the belief that people with BPD deserve more than stigma, misunderstanding, and silence. Too often, Borderline Personality Disorder is portrayed only through stereotypes of fear, while the real experiences of those living with it are ignored. Behind every diagnosis is a human being trying to survive overwhelming emotions, difficult relationships, painful memories, identity struggles, and the exhausting battle between wanting connection and fearing abandonment.
This blog exists to change that conversation.
Healing With BPD is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where people can feel seen, understood, and less alone. Whether you have been formally diagnosed with BPD, suspect you may struggle with its symptoms, love someone who has BPD, or simply want to learn more about mental health, this space was made for you.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a compassionate, honest, and empowering content about Borderline Personality Disorder and emotional healing. We aim to break down the stigma surrounding BPD by sharing real experiences, mental health education, coping strategies, self-reflection, recovery stories, and encouragement for those navigating the complexities of emotional pain.
We believe healing is possible.
Healing does not mean becoming perfect. It does not mean never struggling again. Healing means learning to understand yourself with kindness instead of shame. It means building emotional awareness, healthier relationships, stronger coping skills, and a life that feels worth living—even during difficult moments.
At Healing With BPD, we recognize that recovery is not linear. Some days may feel hopeful and empowering, while others may feel heavy, confusing, or isolating. Both experiences are valid. We want this blog to be a reminder that setbacks do not erase progress and that growth often happens quietly, one small step at a time.

Why This Blog Matters
Living with BPD can feel incredibly isolating. Many people experience intense emotions that are difficult to explain to others. Relationships may feel unstable, self-image may shift constantly, and emotions can become overwhelming very quickly. Society often misunderstands these experiences, which can lead to shame, judgment, or fear of opening up.
Healing With BPD was created to remind people that they are not “too much,” “broken,” or impossible to love.
Mental illness does not define a person’s worth.
People with BPD are often deeply empathetic, emotionally sensitive, passionate, creative, caring, and resilient. While the disorder can bring significant pain, it does not erase the value, humanity, or potential of the person experiencing it.
We believe conversations about BPD should include empathy, accountability, education, and hope—not cruelty or stigma.
A Space for Healing, Not perfection
This blog is not about pretending healing is easy. We understand that recovery can involve painful self-reflection, therapy, setbacks, emotional exhaustion, and difficult changes. Some wounds take time to understand and even longer to heal.
Healing With BPD encourages progress over perfection.
We believe:
Your emotions are valid, even when they feel overwhelming
Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness
Recovery looks different for everyone
You deserve support, respect, and compassion
Your past does not have to determine your future
You are allowed to grow beyond survival mode
Hope can exist even during difficult seasons of life
Our Values
Compassion
We approach mental health conversations with empathy and understanding rather than judgment.
Honesty
We believe in speaking openly about the realities of emotional struggles, trauma, recovery, and healing.
Education
Knowledge can reduce shame and help people better understand themselves and others.
