Fragments Toward the Light
In shadows, I wander,
A heart split in two,
Emotions like waves,
Crashing, then retreating,
A tempest within,
Yearning for calm shores.
Connections like glass,
Fragile, they shatter,
One moment, I’m close,
The next, I am lost,
A dance of despair,
In circles, I spin.
Fear grips like a vice,
Abandonment looms,
A whisper of doubt,
Echoes in silence,
I reach for the light,
Yet darkness consumes.
Identity shifts,
A chameleon’s guise,
Who am I today?
A question unasked,
In mirrors, I search,
For pieces of me.
Yet hope flickers bright,
A spark in the night,
Through therapy’s path,
I learn to embrace,
The chaos within,
And find my own peace.
